We got our first voter fraud!

The way it affects it that there are 25 characters in first wave and another 25 in the next. If he posts 6 times that means he could put all 6 suggestions in the first batch or spread it out.. The problem with it is that it takes away from other people hoping to get their character drawn. The other problem is that he had 6 accounts and is able to spam the vote, and if its a popular character can easily win the vote.

on the bright side , doesnt this mean hes willing to pay for that many slots? though as big as your poll base is , im shocked it could effect the outcome?

User in the comments section: hey please don’t discard these votes. hey you should do some of the characters that aren’t as popular from the poll sometimes. Dear god y’all just leave Soap alone ffs. It’s so tiring reading comments that try and tell Soap how they should run their Patreon. If Soap wants to do something, they’ll do it. If you’re mad that your character isn’t as popular on the fan art poll, show up for the livestream and get it in then. Soap has drawn such a diverse cast on the livestream that it’s your best bet. I don’t understand why this is such a hard concept. Just stop telling Soap how to do their thing. End of discussion. (Until someone inevitably does it again.)

All in all, don't stress about productivity, Soap. You are a very consistent and diligent creator who is well worth the money. Don't be kicking yourself for dealing with someone trying to cheat the system.

I'm not entirely surprised something like this could happen...but that many accounts? Jeez...

Happy to see that a fraudster is getting the boot. Though I'll admit unless you are submitting characters like Raven or Ochaco anyway, you don't really have a chance at all lol. I remember way back in the day there was a month you did one or two characters from the poll didn't get as many votes. Might be interesting to see that come back one day? Or at least something for more obscure characters to have more of a shot.

I've had that happen on my deviantart before. Someone made a couple of accounts so they can vote more for what they wanted in the next part of the story. It's annoying.
