[The Hive] Pre-production #04

I changed my schedule again and worked on the Hive today!

Here's two new bustsets and one redesign. From left to right : Ms.Mack, Maddie and Isabelle!

I wasn't happy with how Maddie come out, it was one of the first bustset I draw and I didn't really liked the result after consideration. I give her more of a "rebel" haircut and a smaller face.

Still having a ton of fun drawing these and trying to find cool designs to match the personalities of the characters. 

Speaking of personalities, I asked Personalias to write descriptions for each characters some months ago. There's still room to change or mix characters together but I thought it would be interesting to show and give you an insider look at what we're aiming for.

Ms.Mack

A charming Nanny with a good personality, funny, generous, she’s got some weight.  A big teddy bear of a person.  Totally a hugger.  Doesn’t exactly take crap, but littles think they can get away with a lot from her.  The type to use the environment to her advantage.   While a little might be up to mischief or raging, she’ll be calmly sipping tea, having already taken precautions and security measures while the little tires themselves out.  Or will turn the air up very cold so that footed sleepers seem more attractive.  She’s very subversive but it’s always made to look like the littles are choosing their treatments.

Maddie

A rebel, a political activist, she’s here as an undercover journalist. Her goal is to gather evidence of what’s going on here, escape to another country and expose the Party for their crimes. She’s cold, cynical and focused.

Isabelle

Snobby rich girl.  Social bully and entitled. Her family framed her for credit card theft and for the simple fact that they all hated her and this was the easiest way to get rid of her.
