[Perpetual Change] Weekly Report #75

I closed the gap a little more before the release of Chapter 4! Good progress overall today, a lot of sprites work. 

I started the day by changing the Daycare music theme on all the maps. The previous music was too fast and joyfull and it was a bit nerve-breacking in the long term. I choose something more slow and chill.

During the sequence where Mona is introduced, I also add two quick pictures of the past, to illustrate the memories flooding back into Eclair's mind.

After that, I worked on the bedtime sequence with Eclair and her mother. Marna have some sort of...surprise milk for Eclair.

During this segment, and during most of the dream segment for this chapter, Eclair is going to wear a pink sleeper. I did a serie of sprites for Eclair with that outfit. I also plan to draw new bustsets with this outfit on, but I'll wait next week to do an off-stream day of work, since I can't stream and work on big photoshop files at the same time.

This time, when Eclair drift off to sleep, she have the nice surprise to wake up in her old room.

Of course, she realize soon enough all of that is part of her dream. These scenes were pretty fun to work on, you will be able to wander around a bit and there's flavor text for some items.

Finally, Eclair is forced to get breakfast again but something happens and her mother start to litteraly glitch out.

And she finally get to confront, once again, the two lunatics that forced her into these weird dreams.

And that's all for today!

I plan to work on the puzzle for this dream sequence next week, I'll also draw the new sleeper outfit for Eclair. Since it's really demanding for my PC to work on big files and stream at the same time, I'll do a offline day of work next time.
