That was a chill day of work, I focus mainly on polishing the game and correcting little problems.
First, I get the help of Bobzbob for a lot of flavor text and some additional dialogues between Fiona and Eclair.
I integrated all of his work into the game. The daycare feel more interesting as you can check almost every item.
Of course, there's still a lot of sidework to do. As the player can control Fiona outside the daycare in the next segments, there's going to be Npc lines to write, some secondary characters to encounter, sidequests, etc, etc.
I took some time to modify all the old Fiona bustsets from the previous chapters. That was a quick fix I needed to make as her old bustset doesn't really look that good.
Next I focused on graphic assets : The school panel of day 4 and the quest indications for Fiona.
I love doing graphic assets like the school panel. I know it doesn't add that much to the game but it gives a really nice extra layer of polish.
I also plan to do some others panels. After that, I think I'll be done with the overall polishing of the game.
I ended the day by continuing the Talkie-Walkie scene between Fiona and Eclair. Eclair encounter Valerie again and need to make a choice.
The consequences are minors (maturity loss) but that can also play a role in the suspicion system I want to integrate.
Next week I'm going to end this little scene, produce more graphic assets and clean the game a bit for the November demo.

You could have it be simple questionnaires where you get asked random questions that only players who played the last 3 chapters should know (or just random guess until they get it right XP). Don't fret over feeling like you NEED to make another system, the maturity system alone is awesome!
