Wow. It's been a year and a couple days since I launched this Patreon. I was instantly blown away with the level of support I suddenly received. I never thought I'd have more than the 5 or so friends I knew would to support me! The fact that people I don't know personally enjoyed my writing enough to read it was already hard for me to accept. That they would pay for it too was baffling.
It's been a year of ups and downs, for a lot of people, not just me. My job was continually chaotic, hectic, and draining. I went through a bunch of pretty minor, yet distracting health issues that slowed my ability to write. I started or signed up for a bunch of projects that haven't come to fruition yet. I wrote myself into a burnout and am still rebuilding the confidence I had at my peak. My Twitter following and Patreon base grew despite all that, due to the patience and continued excitement of every patron, and everyone who shares my work on Twitter and in Discord servers and with their friends and so on.
In the grand scheme of things, my writing and the circle of people who read it is small potatoes in a big potato salad. But it's made a world of difference in my life, in more ways than I can say. Thank you all.
Thank you also, to everyone who pushed me to make a Patreon. There's a number of you who did, and I wouldn't have ever gotten around to it without you!!

I only joined your patreon pretty recently in the scheme of things (it's been like 4-5 months now though which is wild it feels so recent) but I've loved being a patron and having some input on the wonderful stories you write, and being able to directly and easily tell you how much I love them.
