Maybe instead of audible dialogue, just have it be text on the phone screen, with Asriel commenting on the phone's status? That would let MK respond with some kind of dialogue implying normality, rather than directly addressing the towers thing? [Though, the idea of service volumes underground like wifi hotspots is kinda funny] I guess it feels like they oughta be more wary, with such an unusual situation, and having MK fight that feeling off with some kind of enthusiastic excuse for it seems more in line with his modus.
