2018-11-17 05:08:53 +0000 UTCI think giving asriel and frisk a little bit of visual space worked pretty well, for what small change it was. You can see the hug, now! :D Asriel's face in the third & the second to last panel are like 190% too adorable, by the way.

His immortal essence survived which is proof that even without a soul he'll never cease to exist because the essence is the spirit. The Spirit and the Soul are two different things. The Spirit is you. It's your consciousness and is the thing that's impossible to stop existing. That's the only reason he was able to be awoken from death to begin with because his Spirit still lived on so he's not an impossible fake or copy, he is THE ONE and ONLY Asriel Dreemuur (Of the Undertale universe. The DeltaRune universe there's another one, but there is only one universe where the events of Undertale happen). I just want him to have no fear of the future and to know that he'll never have to worry about any of those things and that his worry of any of those things was never a possibility. Sweet kid deserves to know that.

If Asriel knows that no one (Even Frisk) could have resisted becoming psychopathic because of a lack of a soul for their spirit to dwell over then he will truly be able to move on knowing he isn't at fault.

2018-11-11 22:48:36 +0000 UTCI'm glad you didn't leave us with a cliffhanger before moving on to the next act; I was admittedly kind of worried we wouldn't get hugging siblings. :( I read through this a few times, and I think the middle panel with most of the dialogue in it is...kind of cramped? I dunno what I'd do otherwise, maybe have them be smaller, and close to the characters as if it's whispering or something? Otherwise, GO FRISK, for being there when Asriel isn't there for himself. ;_;
