2018-11-09 13:34:53 +0000 UTCThe reason the Monsters spirits were absorbed into other things was because they were trapped inside the barrier and were unable to go to Heaven while it trapped them. With nowhere to go their spirits remained inside the dust from their bodies and were absorbed by the objects they were placed on. Now that they're free from the barrier when a monster dies their spirit goes to Heaven rather than being absorbed by anything. Absolute Dream Please let Asriel find this out so he can realize that no matter what happens he'll never return to being Flowey. If he dies again he'll move on to Heaven like everyone else and be at peace and happiness forever.

They said that so that they would place the blame entirely on the Humans so they would be able to hate them enough to attack them without mercy when they were freed. A Monster Soul and a Human Soul are the same except for one thing. A Human Soul is made more of Determination and a bit of magic. A Monster soul is made mostly of magic and a bit of determination. A Human's Spirit and a Monster's Spirit (Depending on the monster as some of them like the Dreemuurs and Sans are people whereas other ones like the dogs are creatures) however are exactly the same which is what makes them 100% fully people (As there is nothing un person like about their personalities as the spirit is the mind and is immortal). Chara's soul was lost during the plan because Asriel had absorbed it combined it with his soul. When his soul shattered so did Chara's. This is why in the Genocide Route he states that Chara has a "Stolen soul" because his immortal spirit (Which Asriel has as well as his essence is his spirit while his soul is his emotions) was awakened and attached to Frisk's soul. In Pacifist Frisk has full control of his actions and shows Chara that Humans aren't inherently bad by freeing Monsters and going back in time and giving up his own soul (Or creating a new one through determination) for Asriel to be saved and reunited with his family (Implied by the game's themes and dialogue).

In a world where Monsters' sense of self is derived in large part from their soul, the fractured state of Azzy's self is akin to not knowing who he is. Regardless of that, he knows what he *wants* to be, and despite his best efforts to do so, Humpty-dumpty won't go back together nicely. Basically, HUG THE PLANT-SHAPED GOTE BROTHER. Please. ;_;

Frisk's role as the angel in the prophecy was to show you that life is NOT that unfair by not only helping you free Monster-kind, but also SAVE you from your suffering. Frisk is there to show you that most people are good and would be willing to give up it all to help someone else. No one suffers like that for all eternity, and your life is only just beginning. Frisk was there for a reason and it was to right the wrong that had befallen you and your people. Only the most scum of a person would be able to take your place and not bring you back with them when it's shown they clearly have the ability to provide you with a soul of your own through their DETERMINATION and Compassion. He's able to make Dreams come true by hoping through Determination, he's able to control and rewrite time without the Player's guidance (As the player is only in control during the Genocide and non Neutral Pacifist playthroughs by corrupting with hate, whereas Frisk is controlling the Player in Neutral Pacifist and True Pacifist Playthroughs through love and compassion, and he's able to SAVE YOU through Love, compassion, kindness, and DETERMINATION. There's no way he'd give up on giving you the Happy Ending you deserve. That is what the games' ending is about, for people to realize that you will be saved too. You've been Saved from that fate and now Frisk will save you from your own guilt and despair. Everyone loves you Asriel and everyone will always love and forgive you.
