I think part of it is due to the red around her eye, cause I totally see what you were doing with the simplified eye, but because of the red it just makes it look like... well, a not-so-simplified eye. xD It's her crazy make-up/eye skin.

Also wanted to ask--is Undyne's eye supposed to be red in panels 4&5? It looks like her expression is a little more simplified so I wasn't sure if that was intentional. xD
