FEBRUARY UPDATE - THE LUSTIVAL

Heya Kin! Today I’m here to talk to you about the newest thing I’ve been working on, The Lustival! This is going to be a longer term project that I plan to release in a series of updates, with each update adding new content, new characters, and new dialogue to the game.

Below you'll find concepts and written explanations of the different things I'm planning and places you'll go.

You’ve come to this town for a reason, there’s a Lustival happening!! But you’re out of smooches (the currency of this world) and don’t have anyone to lust with. So before the festivities begin tomorrow morning you’ve gotta make some cash, drink some empowering liquors, learn some new lusting skills, and lay with some kin.

You start outside of an inn called “The Ruffled Haunch”, and from there will be able to explore, talk to different characters, and complete enough odd jobs to pay for rent for the night. After hanging out at town at night and going to the next morning you’ll have the chance to compete in the famous “Buttle Royale” a lusty combat spree that takes place in the *arena* You hear that there’s an amazing prize to be given out by the queen herself.

I’ve seperated this into milestones for each release, this will give you all a better idea of what im working on and allow for feedback from you all towards what I’m doing, what you’d like  to see, and things you find missing or that you’d like expanded upon.

The Ruffled haunch is the first building you see when you start the story up. Outside you’ll find Dark’s web. He sells various accessories for a modest amount of smooches. Inside you’ll find Click the bartender, she’s got an elusive brother and will sell you some orgasmic tonics that will improve your stats, you can bring her some liquors you find out in the field and she might even make you a new drink.

You’ve got to find a way to make some smooches to stay the night and buy some drinks, maybe you should go to the Quest board and see what they have to offer. Or try going to one of the linked locations like Extatem’s brothel in the forest. They might need some assistance from an aspiring adventurer like yourself.

Each new update will add more locations and characters to the town that you can chat with, complete tasks for, and maybe get to join your party.

In the forest you'll find Extatem's Brothel. It's a love-house dedicated to Extatem, one of the deities of the land that gave it's kin a form of lust magic. 

You can find Priss, the head priestess and matron of the place here. She’s got some tasks you could complete for a few smooches, and maybe you can even spend some quality time *worshiping* with her if you do a good job or have got the smooches to pay her. 

Think of the brothel like a church or temple where priests perform services to the kin for donations. Of course some brothels also offer daily services where kin can come to *worship* the lovely kin at the brothel.

In the Forest nearby some bandits have cropped up on the main road. They think that maybe they can fleece a few smooches from the visitors to the Lustival or Extatem’s brothel. They call themselves the Catcoon bandits, even though only one of them is a catcoon. But you better watch out, some rumors about the rabbit being a lust mage have been circling about, she might use her little catcoon buddy to fuel some powerful magics. Maybe if you beat them you can get a few smooches, and learn more about the bandits.

You hear their boss is a cunning thief and master flirter that recently took control of the group. You wonder where their headquarters are located.

I plan to have playable version of this by early to mid March And will announce the timeline for the next update as this one nears it's completion.

Inspired by LQ: Ice, you’ll visit the mountain that quest takes place in, meeting Wicklow, Yowie, the ice dragon, and a variety of ice sculptures and wing-kin. The moth has been running around again causing some trouble again, so I’m sure there’s something you can do for a quick smooch or two.

This should take 1-2 months to complete

In the nearby desert there’s an oasis town. You can head over there to shop for some cool wares. Get some new forms of alchohol, visit an ancient desert themed brothel run by a former queen herself, and find out why cactmyn is being worshipped as some sort of saintly figure at the center of town.

The Lustival grounds will also get an update, letting you enter part of the Lustival and play some games, earning some trinkets and toys. Some Kin really want these toys and maybe you can convince them to join you in your attempt at the Buttle Royale if you collect all of them…

This should take 1-2 months to complete

You’ll be able to finally pay for a room at the inn and wait until nighttime where a new area will unlock, the queen’s palace, otherwise known as the nightclub city run by the illustrious and fair Dragon queen. She rules the land with her lustful flame and all currency in her domain is based off of the worth of her smooches.

It’s closed off until night time, where a mysterious portal appears in a nearby cave. You see some insect-kin wandering in and out of it and a few of them are even scattered about asking for artifacts that they’ll pay you some smooches for. Inside you’ll notice some kin drinking a strange substance that makes them more empathetic with eachother, will you partake in the pre-Lustival festivities?

This should take 1-2 months to complete

A caravan to the north appears in town (during the day), you can ride in to take a trip to the Academy and maybe take a lesson or two on Lust combat and Lust Magic. Maybe you should visit Chesst, the chess themed brothel and drinkery and play a game or two, or partake in the lovely chess themed beauties.

But be wary you don't spend all of your smooches on lessons, or even worse, have to pay... student loans. This location is based off of the LQ novel! So you'll encounter some characters from this here and if you want to know more about it, I'd suggest giving it a read.

This should take 2-3 months to complete

Some new events get added to nighttime, like the characters in your party appearing in your bedroom before you go to sleep to chat with you, maybe even spending a lustful night with you in a pile of feathers.

And the Buttle royale event gets put in motion as you try to flirt your way past many of the kin you encountered on your journey, but something unexpected might happen depending on what you’ve done during the rest of your visit.

This should take 1-2 months to complete

Thanks for taking the time to read all this. I've been doing a lot of work plotting out the scenario, conceptualizing out new areas and characters and look forward to sharing more with you as I finish it. My hope is that I can include a lot of the things I want in the game by the end of the year and have a fully released and finished product I can put on steam for sale for a few dollars.

There's also a few other requests I wanted to address that were made in the past:

Male Protagonist or Renamable protagonist - As of right now I am currently planning on having two selectable protagonists, Prota and Deutro. Prota will remain as they have in the past, but Deutro will be a main protagonist for those who prefer playing these kinds of games as a male character. Though supporting two protagonists will cause the game to take a bit longer to develop (and require new art, I think this is something that will make a lot of you happy. I'm also tentatively going to work on having the protagonist be renamable.

Leveling and Progression - Leveling won't happen like other RPGs, instead, you gain stat increases and abilities by interacting with characters, drinking booze, and having sex with other characters.

Tons of new NSFW art - a complaint some have made is that there's not too many nsfw portraits in the previous games, so I chose to do a longer term project to address this issue and include many different nsfw portraits. Some of these won't be completed at the initial launch but will be added in afterwards. The art style of these portraits will also shift slightly to be higher quality, I hope you look forward to it.
