MPL 2.0 - Ep 7 Sneak Preview
Added 2019-08-16 16:12:08 +0000 UTCMy dumb self just found out that I can use Sketchup (a 3d program that's commonly used by many Webtoon creators) as a computer program, instead of on a web browser which was what I'd been doing all this while 😂
Anyway this makes things much easier now. No more browser crashing every 15 minutes, and I'm finally able to purchase actual 3d models to use, etc. I spent today and yesterday teaching myself how to use it properly, and this is a scene I've rigged up for Ep 7, so I can rotate things around and get more creative with the camera angles! The final scene will look nothing like this because I need to rework most of it, but at least I'll have a better visual idea of object placement and things now.
I've always hated doing backgrounds. I also hate working with 3D programs (because everything is so technical and I can't just 'feel' my way through things). And I promised myself that I'd hire a background artist as soon as I could. But somehow, by a strange twist of fate, I'm doing almost all of the background art myself, now 🤯😂
Also, the next POM episode will be up later tonight, or tomorrow afternoon depending on where you live <33
