Quick life update

The last few weeks have been increasingly overwhelming for me for several reasons, so I had to take a short break to reset my mental and emotional state.
I spent the last few days not working on anything, but binging on Mars from start to finish, and the volumes of Dengenki Daisy that I never completed. Also went on a few nice dinner dates with the hubs, got my nails and some other personal grooming done (I've seriously been neglecting my appearance and I was starting to look like a complete slob, so much ughhh).
Sidenote: Mars is even more amazing than Iast recalled. The last time I read it was well over a decade ago, and reading it with adult eyes now, I'm really able to appreciate the themes so much more than when I was a teen. It really should be a josei and not a shoujo manga imo.
Anyway just wanted to let you guys know what's been going on. I'm gonna start on the sketching work for ep 3 of MPL now. Wish me luck!

OMG i love both of those manga so much!!! I often binge Tokyi Crazy Paradise, or Samurai Deeper Kyo when im feeling blah.
2019-08-30 19:36:12 +0000 UTCI enjoyed Dengeki Daisy, and the author's new stuff is pretty good, too: QQ Sweeper and Queen's Quality. I'm not familiar with Mars, though. 🤔
