I've loved "Mary Jane" for the longest time - 2 decades now?? I feel like I wrote the character Poppy with the song constantly at the back of my mind. And I'm overjoyed that after so long, I've finally gotten a chance to share this character I've created with everybody else. It gets me very emotional every time I listen to it and think about Pops. Even though Tora's the star of the show (apparently 😂), I love my silly child just as much - or maybe more - and with all my heart. She may not be the smartest or the bravest, but she's a good, honest, hardworking girl.
