I have a strange habit, when I avoid work, I just start more work to avoid the work I should be doing :D 2 years ago I started to redraw an old Bicycle back design from ca. 1887. Today I finally finished it, while I was trying to avoid my actual work...

When I saw this design, I knew immediately that I had to redraw it more cleanly for a reprint. The drawing of the bird gave me a hard time, which is why it - like several other ideas - disappeared back onto my hard drive for the time being.

Something I could have done beforehand, of course, is to ask USPCC if I could reprint the deck. I'm not allowed to... "...at this time all historical designs are only being reprinted by our marketing team and are not available for custom customers." I don't want to praise myself - ok, maybe a little - but the marketing team won't get the design any better. 🌝

That's a bit of a shame, of course, but it doesn't stop me from sharing the result with you.
