Gold Foil Innocence

Since the very first Innocence deck, it has been a dream of mine to print this deck in gold. The regular Innocence deck even has an extra 8 of Spades with a gold back. Unfortunately, the gold is just gold Pantone ink instead of foil, so the actual effect I was hoping for never really came into its own. I want to finally change that.

I wanted to print this deck back in early 2023, but then I thought, wait a second – holographic foil is actually even more impressive. As much as I love the holographic edition; it has its weaknesses, which a gold foil edition can make up for.

When I printed the BR Hotel V3 Edition with Hanson Chien, I also printed samples of the 10 Year Anniversary Edition and a Gold Foil Innocence Edition. I've had this one card in my drawer for 3 years and I love the idea too much to let it languish in a drawer.

Unfortunately, the printing of this deck will not be cheap again, which currently presents me with a few challenges. Even if you see a funding goal of over 50K in my 10 Year Anniversary Kickstarter campaign, don't think that's going to get me through the year. The tax office is already keeping its hands open.

Of course, that's exactly what a Kickstarter campaign is for, to print the decks that are beyond the financial scope. But the current fulfillment of the 10 Year Anniversary Edition is going so smoothly that I don't want to deny you this luxury in the future. This only works if I manage to print the decks somehow beforehand.

I've had 1-2 other decks in mind in the past, but I actually want to make the gold foil Innocence deck my next Kickstarter project in late spring.
