These are the mini deck templates that I received today from the printing company.
I told them I want to print a mini deck and I also told them the size (44 mm x 63 mm). A regular poker card has the dimensions 63 mm x 88 mm. So of course I thought: mini deck = half the size. Just to figure out that I'm wrong. I'm too dumb to understand this :D But if you reduce the length of a normal poker card from 88 mm to 63 mm, the width is not 44 mm, but 45.1 mm. The decimal place isn't that important. But the template had to be changed again. 1 millimeter is equal to 0.03937007874 inches (I googled that :D). It doesn't sound like a lot but you would see a bigger border on the short sides of the back design and I want to avoid that of course.
I also wasn't happy with the tuck box. So I changed the shape so that all details look like a USPCC tuck case:

Side by side you can see the changes a bit better.

At first only the shape of the two small flaps on top and the shape of the half moon cut out bothered me. But then I almost changed everything. The shape of all four bottom flaps and the thickness of the tuck box from 18 mm to 17 mm. I compared a few different tuck boxes that I have from HC, USPCC and Cartamundi and I figured out that 17 mm will work. At the end it will also look better when the whole deck isn't that thick. It took me a few hours but I'm really happy with the result.
Regular and mini deck tuck in comparison:

Maybe the text on the bottom of the tuck is too small now. I'm sure the company can tell me more. We will hopefully figure it out tomorrow.
Hope you like this little update. I often spend a lot of time on something like this, where there are no impressive new graphics. So it's always hard to tell how interesting it all is.
Much love
Daniel
