BR Hotel / Casino Update

I'll post an update on Kickstarter later today but I will only show some images, without talking about the details. Also a few things happened that I want to share with you first. In fact, there are also some insights that no one else needs to know.
A happy little accident happened with the tuck box. Something that isn't visible on the photos. The tuck boxes have matte paper now instead of glossy paper. I wanted glossy paper so that it matches with the previous editions. But I think a matte tuck box will help the deck to look even more premium. So there is no reason for me to change it.
Don't get confused by the two card backs in the left image. For a second I fooled myself with it. π I decided to remove both roses completely on one card so that you can use both cards for a trick, even if you don't have "The Ice Breaker" rose gimmicks. Both cards have the QH on the face.
In the image below you can see the silver inner of the tuck box. At this point I don't want to leave unmentioned that the price on KS for this deck was only 13β¬! :D
Another mistake happened in the production with the gilded Casino decks. Instead of red gilded edges they produced silver gilded decks. That's something that needs to be re-produced now but it won't affect the start of the fulfillment on February 7.
Don't get confused by the card on top of the deck with the gold borders. That is the Casino cut card.
I'm really happy with everything but the green details in the Muffin deck are hard to top.

2022-01-21 13:52:53 +0000 UTCItβs definitely not an easy decision and it differs from case to case. You need to think about the fact that printing a deck isn't cheap. And you can't simply keep a messed up print run for free. Some people might not care about small mistakes but as creator you also don't want to offer something when you aren't happy with the result.

I thought about keeping them but then I would sell or have a lot more decks than I originally said. Iβm sure most people don't care but it would be also false advertising somehow.

2022-01-21 13:29:27 +0000 UTCGood question. It's stainless steel. Normally I wanted to get them with silver plating but they told me that it would oxidize faster and without plating it already looks like silver. So it's stainless steel only.
