[TOE] Versatile_Particles_System for Touchdesigner

Yes, this is it.

I've just finished a brand new version of my Particles System in TOPs for Touchdesigner.

It's based a many particles system i have already shared, but with MAJOR improvements. It's really easy to use for eveyone, the container have exposed parameters, and you can achieve a lot of differents behaviors and results.

It's because i'm also working on the related tutorial, and I found useful to rebuild a new system and make it better than ever, and more important, easier to use.

Some great effects can be done from here, without even diving more, where some data (on the left side) are correctly plugged in. For more advanced results, of course, you would probably enter to see what's happening inside.

In addition with another post of mine (PTC from any OBJ, as you can see in the screenshot), anything can become a nice and complex particles emitter : 3d models, pointclouds...

Two versions of it are available to download :

Feel free to contact me if you have some questions

Hope you will like it

Hi Leon. The teapot is the emitter object if nothing is plugged in the position input of the main container. To emit from another object, sprinkleSOP on your model to create some points, transform this data in TOPs, then plug it in the position input

Trying to replace the teapot with my own geometry obj and no luck. There is still the teapot and cannot be replaced. How can i replace it? It seems like you internalised ...

hey long time fan, made the jump to join the patreon, im loving this systme. i managed to pipe in a video input, so it acts more like a post process effect. i have two issues/requests. 1 - how do i get rid of black pixels...they are so ugly when its all moving around. and my texture has alpha, but i cant figure out where they are being added. i geuss its just assignig a color to a point. but there must be a way to mask it out. 2 - how would i create a spring like effect. so i make my particles live forever, and with a parmater get them to "spriung" back to there insitial positon. thanks b2bk!!!
