Hey everyone! I apologize for not posting much lately. I've been feeling really overwhelmed with deadlines and work. However, I managed to create a new illustration of my D&D Warlock, Asriel!
I'd also love to share a brief summary of Asriel's backstory with you. It's quite condensed, but I don't want to bore you with too much detail. I just want to give you some context.
Asriel, abandoned as a newborn, grows up in an orphanage until he is 13 years old. He has a small secret: he can heal small wounds with a touch. One night, he is mysteriously taken away and wakes up in a laboratory where he undergoes painful experiments, during which runes and glyphs are tattooed on his body. In the laboratory, he befriends his cellmates: Snack, an orc, and Lyra, a changeling girl. Despite various escape attempts, he remains trapped and, after the last attempt, is separated from his friends.
Asriel is then taken by Graz'zt, the Dark Prince of Azzagrat, who is attracted by his uniqueness and wants him for himself. Graz'zt, in exchange for freedom from the laboratory, binds Asriel to him as a warlock and takes him to his crystal palace in the Hell. Here, Asriel spends years trapped in Graz'zt's palace. He discovers he is an Aasimar but cannot obtain further information about himself and the laboratory. Graz'zt, after various insistences from Asriel, decides to let him go to allow him to discover his past and find his cellmates, on the condition that he returns to the palace once he has achieved his goal. Asriel travels in search of the laboratory and his friends, but he also has another goal: to find someone who can free him from the pact with Graz'zt.
This is his backstory; what will happen from now on, I will discover only during the campaign!
