Fable Review | Moral Relativism Edition™

Peter Molyneux's greatest fantasy RPG.

Or a cautionary tale on the dangers of marriage.

Between recording and getting sick - this one took longer than expected.
Apologies for the delay.

Also as stakeholders you're entitled to know that the website is getting rebuilt from the ground up by people who know what they're doing (i.e not me). Should be online soon enough.

Please Enjoy!

Sincerely,
Sseth

very cool

JEPZ

please man, above all look after yourself first and foremost I wish you all the best out there

SsethTzeentach

Sseth im sure you dont care but i had to temporarily lower my donation amount cause times are tough =( only temporary ill go back to giving more when i can. Cant wait for new video. Keep doin what u do man.

Chao Vritra

Sounds like ATOM RPG

Walcour

Thank you for the suggestion! I'm planning one day to cover either this or free cities and give people zero head's up about the content of those games

SsethTzeentach

oh yeah absolutely - Fallout 1 and 2 have been on the list for ages I'll get to them sooner or later - but the vid after the next one I think will cover a very close spiritual successor to fallout. Also its an almost one-man dev team.

SsethTzeentach

One of the most fucked up games i've ever played is Jack O Nine Tails.

Vinnie

A seamless weave of tasteful shitpost and honest review as always. Have you thought about looking into the OG Fallout games, the first and second. They're excellently written, if aged RPGs.

Coldfish

Also remember to use the mods, If you can read Russian.

Goodluck Sully

Well that's some bullshit. I guess they were just too dumb and also stupid to understand your wit. There fucking loss, buncha losers

Gaylord Steambath

jesus christ aight its on the list man, no promises but my curiosity will get the best of me

SsethTzeentach

hey that looks nice! i'll add it to the list i'll see if i can emulate this thing some time

SsethTzeentach

oh god hell yeah - that and Men of War 2 are really damn good games p.s first one runs just fine on XP if you can dual boot it, 7 as well maybe

SsethTzeentach

apologies for the delays I think I can formally explain why the next vid is late once its out (it would've been this week probably) but the gist of it was: got hired by a Vancouver studio to cover a game, senior management saw my script and I got burnt - 1 week of work down the drain

SsethTzeentach

Cover the Russian classic Men of War Assault squad. If you can get it running.

Goodluck Sully

Please Papa Seth, I am in dire need of your epic gamer wisdom!

Gaylord Steambath

Fuck man, I just don't wanna restart all the way at the beginning. All my dudes are just too week to deal with the last few days, and it's kinda bullshit. Still a good game though, lol.

Gaylord Steambath

Hey Seth. Have you ever looked at Drakan: The Ancient Gates? It's an open world rpg that's pretty good. Very few people have heard of it and you can fly around on a dragon. https://youtu.be/JKqIeZpxP2A?t=172

Beist

Wow lol, I think i've been going about this whole game wrong, cuz I'm on day 46, and this shit is near fucking impossible. All my abnormalities suck, and these fucking ordeals keep kicking my ass. Should I restart, and copy your method, or stick it out? I got some decent gear, but I can barely take out one dude, without everyone almost dying

Gaylord Steambath

If you had a good giggle at Honey Select I have another game by Illusion. Koikatsu Party that released on steam last month. Think Honey Select but you bring "waifus to laifu". It actually has a "story mode" that turns it into a visual novel. If you want to be able to use any custom cards make sure to download the HF patch (This comes with the story mode patch from Illusions website too)

Ethral

I'll definitely see if I can cover lobotomy corp - to tell the truth i've already played and finished it, my difficulty is deciding what I should say - the game is very interesting but it does also have some strange mechanisms that can put people off (like the ways you can infinitely grind your agents to V class in no time as long as you can manage infinite qlipoth meltdowns, which you're almost expected to do if you want to survive some of the worse core suppressions (BINAH, Hokma))

SsethTzeentach

You should review Lobotomy Corporation. I saw a little reference in one of your other vids, and think it'd be right up your alley. Featuring; Monsters, subjecting innocent and disadvantaged people to work with monsters, and trying to save the world, by also not destroying it. Keep up the good work sir!

Gaylord Steambath

wait what the hell - top down isometric games on the infinity engine have aged the best, sprites scale up amazingly well - you can see this in like divine divinity - it looks even better on 1080p than monitors of the time so the graphics complaint is garbage, they're just mouthbreathers

SsethTzeentach

I think a lot of people just plain do not know the higher standards existed. I've heard a lot of people tell me they can't get into it because it's 'too complicated' or 'the graphics suck'. When really it's pretty simple once you get into it, and I mean.. if you judge older games by their graphics.. ugh.

-

wizards of the coast didn't help, and they're a blight on the IP

SsethTzeentach

oh yeah BG1/2 and NWN1/2 need to get covered its a shame since some people forget that we went from extremely high quality standards to lower quality standards

SsethTzeentach

I already agreed with Enter the Matrix but I also want to add to it by suggesting Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights. I like that you tend to do games a lot of people haven't played. I think Baldur and NWN are kind of buried in the past now for a lot.

-

no worries among esoteric circles apparently sacrificing your wife can get you some reasonable rates on aging reversal

SsethTzeentach

Never played Fable and probably still wont after this, I'll just go sacrifice my wife in real life. Best leave the video games to the high quality shit poster

Grace Banks

they really fixed nothing a friend thought they fixed the Sword of Aeons 30 minute steal, but its just slightly harder to align yourself to the chamber in Unreal Engine, not impossible

SsethTzeentach

hell yeah New Vegas has been on the list of stuff to cover for ages i'm just waiting for a good time to do a proper video on it played it multiple times, did all the DLC (even the one with an automated battle royale collar that goes off and forces you to quickload every 10 secs)

SsethTzeentach

no, but you need enough of the item to sell back in one sitting otherwise you will still lose money due to the merchants markup, also you need to make sure they have zero of whatever you are about to sell. off the top of my head I think the easiest are apples, you need like 300 of them I think but they are everywhere and are pretty cheap

Talus

i cant seem to get the exploit where you buy everything from a shop and resell them at a higher price. do i need to leave the town

Ganja from Clear Sky

weird coincidence just finished my play through of anniversary and the game is still as busted as i remember.

Flashcase

I'm proud to announce that I can finally call myself a member of the merchants guild, bankrolling the top tier creations of my favorite african warlord! May I also make my first suggestion by asking you to review Fallout: New Vegas?

Wiegl

i'll definitely do it one day just to see how much pain I can handle

SsethTzeentach

that car chase sequence gave me and my friends PTSD and we did spend about 2 hours smashing against that terrible level to just get to the end of that garbage

SsethTzeentach

I only found out recently you can make money by constant marriage / divorces in Oakvale since they give you a 2k dowry each time (and you can mass-buy marriage rings for 500 a pop). Use this info responsibly.

SsethTzeentach

Thank you! Oh yeah system shock and the second one are already up there on the list - I finished number 2 ages ago and it was pretty damn good (except the ending). And Divinity is up there on the list already, played a bunch of them and original sin. Divine Divinity still looks crispy to this day - isometric pixels scale beautifully.

SsethTzeentach

I think our pain / bullshit tolerance threshold is much higher when we're younger, so we sort of forgave these pieces of garbage. I'll add Enter the Matrix to the list - but if I do cover it its gonna several minutes of me spitting vitriol and having PTSD flashbacks of that goddamn car chase sequence that you can fail if you make a single wrong turn

SsethTzeentach

This was truly wonderful as always. You should consider making a video on Enter the Matrix, I agree with the above comment. I remember thinking this game was terrible even as a kid but for some reason I kept playing until I beat it.

-

Ah, beautiful work as always, Sseth. Love your content. Keep it up! By the way, have you considered making a video about System Shock? Also seeing you having fun fooling around RPing some evil man I would definitely recommend you to play Divinity series.

Klownledge

Sounds like Enter the Matrix would be a good followup.

AttilaBubby

Why enter the matrix haunted you? You didnt liked squared wheels of cars?)

Paskudne

I stumbled on your content recently during a marijuany fueled trip, and my soul instantly became enthralled to Our Eternal Trouser Snake Overlord. This video is proof that there is still so much beauty in this world i can contribute to. May your snake always be blessed Commander ☝🏾

G.Ceres

What other game allows you to commit an ethnic cleansing on the only two black people in Albion? What other game allows you to commit drunken donestic violence against your spouse?

Richard Grubber

Ah yes, the nostalgic memories of me beating my wife up for hours on end as a kid.

Maritropa

Fuck I need to play the original. I played 2 and 3 ten years ago but never 1.

RomaineLettuceman

that's a yee haw and a half
