6/21 Bondage Island Progress
Added 2017-06-21 20:12:34 +0000 UTCThis week I've been working on fixing up some little irregularities in the existing graphics for the game. Particularly with some of the older graphics, there were artifacts that made some aspect look funny. I've been editing those out in GIMP in many cases. In other cases, I've re-rendered the scene or image, including the picture of Alexa in the blue dress that is her default picture. It's tedious, time consuming, and not particularly satisfying, but at the same time the contrast between some of the early graphics and the later ones was jarring.
I'm also adding a scene with Becca in the hottub. Eventually all the characters should have hottub scenes, but it's not clear I'll have that all done in 0.4.
Having said all that, Bondage Island as of 0.4 is starting to look like what I intended as the finished product. There will always be things that could be tweaked and improved. There are always scenes that can be added. But I think I'm more likely than not to call the version *after* 0.4 "done" and designate it 1.0.
I'm beginning to put some of my energy and time into other erotic game projects. I hope to be able to show off early versions in the next month or so. As usual, patrons will get the first glimpses. Bondage Island, by intention, was a project that operated in a limited time frame and had a limited scope. My next project will be more open ended, larger, and expandable, and will incorporate many of the lessons learned from making Bondage Island. I'll try to get a post out about that shortly.
