NEW VIDEO: What Happened Before History? Human Origins

Humans. We have been around for a while now. When we think about our past we think about ancient civilizations, the pyramids, stuff like that. But this is only a tiny, tiny part of our history.

Our longest video to date and in 60fps, too! Hope you all enjoy!

I love these history videos!

Love it! ❤️

Bryony Sanson

Your videos are outstanding. As a teacher of science, I regularly use your videos in my lessons as they are as captivating as they are informative. Thank you very much, and keep up the great work!

Another thing I would enjoy would be WW2 or WW1 stuff! Also ancient empires would also be great

I love this video and continue with the great work ( I would enjoy more history stuff :D )

Great job, guys!

Nate Sheets

I thought this video was very impressive. Thank you for the curating the content. Looking forward to more related content. :)

Seriously. You're amazing. The information density of this video was off the chart, and yet it was easily consumable. You're really on to something....

You all just keep doing what you're doing. Whatever you make, it's great, and I'll watch it with fervor.

I echo what other said. I really enjoyed this. I look forward to them, and I hope / think most of your subscribers understand the time and money it take to make them and would be okay with only a few a year. Keep it up!

If you're going to do more history, if it's like this, i'm sure it will be great. Personally, I would like to see one on the roman empire, if you're taking suggestions.

As far as feedback-on-history goes, I think this is great. Looking forward to the other one or two this year.

Liked it a lot guys, it made me think about global warming and the consequences of development. good job, guys!

Amazing guys! Keep up the good work. Happy to be a patron.

I think there's value in mixing the subject of what you're examining. Just like how this video was a bit of history mixed with a bit of science, if you wanted to make more history videos try to look at them at new angles such as mixing history with sociology, psychology, etc. Hopefully that will help make the videos stand out from the average history video.

Awesome vid, really appreciate the work! :)

Thanks for what you are doing! I hope you will make another video about The Immune System Explained. It was so helpful!

I became a patron because I loved your work and want to do my part to encourage you to do more. I'm so happy to see that other people think the same and now we have your first history video! We are so happy to help out so you can keep doing what you love and give us awesome contents!

I'm glad to be a patron and help out, and that was a very informative piece. I really liked the look of the Hubble Space Telescope for some reason, although I love the entire art style (as well as narration of course!). And it does make you think, especially about what humans are doing in, and to, the world today compared to what we've done through history. I have concerns about how many of us there are in the planet, and how growth seems to always be a factor of success in a lot of countries and yet I feel the more people there are, the worse we are making civilization. Our success as a species could very well be our downfall when the planet has to support that many us...

Richard Judd

Great, as always! Your amazing work made me want to give you guys something in return, so i became a patron :)

Great work guys. I can also recommend Extra Credit's history videos as well; certainly a different art style but not less entertaining in any way! Maybe you can collaborate or inspire each other! :p

Julian

Awesome video! I love the "Big History" type perspective on these things. As a high school biology teacher, I will certainly be using this in class! Thanks!

MKari_12

I love that you guys have begun covering history. The animations are getting smoother too I see.
