Hello Everyone, Team Radious here!
Outside of purely gaming news, both myself (Radious) and my wife tested negative for coronavirus following a small outbreak in my workplace. We are currently feeling well and staying in quarantine for the next couple of days. We would like to thank everybody for their good wishes and messages of support!
Getting back to this whole modding business, busy times are ahead of us! Todayโs announcement is going to be an update on our work, a sneak peek at what is right behind the corner for us, and a plea. With new content likely for Three Kingdoms and Troy, as well as the newly announced DLC for Wood Elves in Warhammer II, the last months of 2020 are going to be some of the most work heavy days ever for us. With the Christmas period probably looking nothing like any of the ones which came before, with a lot of us not being able to see our families, a lot of pressure will be placed upon ours and yours shoulders.
Letโs kick things off with news concerning the immediate future, however! A new submod is coming for our Warhammer II Overhaul, which is a custom edit of the excellent Community Bug Fix created by Celtik, Vandy and Norse. It has been created with their full knowledge and permission and fixes some of the compatibility issues between it and our overhaul, streamlines some of the fixes to work better with our balance and overall makes them work together in a smoother manner. Below you can find the link to both the original version of the mod. Our submod will be released this week and wil lnot require the original mod which is not compatible with our work.

The main overhaul is also getting an update, with new event pictures incorporated with the permission of GunKing, the author of the excellent Expanded Event Art Compliation Vol I and II as well as a bunch of smaller and bigger tweaks, balance changes and fixes. Below you can find the link to the excellent original mods.

In associated news, Drunk Flamingo has agreed to soon update his Gates of Chaos mod to include our custom units in his scripts, making a game when both both our overhaul and his creation is used far more challenging and engaging. Our edits were send to him and should appear in next update of his mod.

There is a new update for Troy coming soon as well, alongside some new downloadable content. We are going to jump on the case as soon as it is possible and work on updating our Overhaul for your enjoyment! The Epic Games Workshop (or however they are going to be calling it) should become available soon too, so we hope that the next version will be available to download from there, but nobody knows how it is going to look like or even work.
Moving on to some news that are a bit further away in time, CAโs crammed release plans for Warhammer II and 3K will require us to arrange a rather hectic work schedule to create the updates for all our associated overhauls and submods, and to make sure that they fully support the new content and slot in seamlessly. It will require hundreds upon hundreds of hours of dedicated time and a lot of our attention in order to retain the high-level quality that came to define our mods. This comes at one of the most challenging times in recent years as the world continues to combat the global pandemic and our countries are introducing stricter and stricter restrictions on our lives, increasing the amount of stress we must deal with in our everyday lives.
As such, we would like to humbly ask for your support. We know that times are difficult for all. We are doing our best to keep up with our personal lives, work, and the demands of our modding passion. It is supremely difficult to juggle these things and make sure that we carry on. If you want help us out, please consider supporting us on Patreon. If you are unable to, feel free to still join us on social media and give us feedback on our work and interact with us.
We hope that you all stay healthy throughout this difficult time and wish you all the best.
Yours,
Team Radious
