Gentle training makes for weak warfighters. War really sucks sometimes. It can be hard. Training needs to reflect that. It needs to be stressful.

Basically it's your first time out in the field and we were served a hot meal of chili mac, after running the confidence course. Nice and sweaty and full of chili mac, they'd send us into the CS chamber, which is a basically tear gas. And CS gas sticks to any moister on your skin. Choking and coughing sometimes guys would heave and freak out thinking they were puking blood. Sadists... Hahahahahahaha!
