2024-10-04 07:09:20 +0000 UTCThanks for watching! One of the things I didn't pick up on until a second watch was Nellie saying "Go" and "Don't". We see her say it at the end when Luke is dead and seeing the tea party again, but if you go back a few episodes - Luke wakes up in the middle of the night when Nell dies and he sees her standing at the front of the bed, she says "Go". He interprets it to mean to go after his friend. Then at the Nell's grave when the ghost of their mother is trying to pull him in, he looks up and he sees Nell's ghost say "Don't". I just love how it fits in with time being moments sprinkled like confetti!

But, its also sooo relatable to anyone who has struggled with real-life issues like grief, loss, addiction, mental health struggles, and family dysfunction. It also reminds us that no matter what shitty event life throws at you, there are always friends and family that have your back.

I love when reactors watch it because I always rewatch it along with them and every time I love it more. I love how they show everyone is still together at the end when Luke has his 2nd year. I love Nellie's scene at the end. I love the "I learned a secret. There's no without, I am not gone. I'm scattered into so many pieces, sprinkled on your life like new snow." That is so beautiful it takes my breath away. I always feel so moved I want everyone to watch the show and others are like I don't like scary shows and I'm like no you don't understand it's amazing.

Plus every ghost seemed to be pretty cool in the show. It was just Poppy who was insane. The other ghosts left them alone. The tall guy (Mr. William Hill), never attacked anyone. He just didn't like the kid taking his hat. Old lady ghost tried to warn mom. The statute ghosts were just cool hanging around.
