2024-09-02 01:13:31 +0000 UTCYeah if it was not clear, Jorah had been sending intel on the Targs to Varys (and in exchange for good intel, he was given a royal pardon to return back to Westeros). Thats why when Jorah had learned Danny was pregnant, he suddenly said he had to travel to Qohor (to send off a message to Varys). Thats how Robert learned she was pregnant. Bur of course we see now that Jorah has sided with Danny and stopped the assassination attempt (that he was partly responsible for)

Also, I like the Like/Dislike list rather than Good/Evil because this series is really good at keeping you on your toes about that sort of thing so its best not to view it in such binaries. A fun fact is that Charles Dance (Tywin) actually really skinned a real stag for that first scene we meet him in. Cersei and Jaime being twins makes the fucking even more insane to me lol

The reason he goes to Cersei is because he believes he’s doing the right thing and sparing their lives, because Robert had the Targaryens literally hunted down because of Rhaegar stealing Lyanna. It’s a bit different because Robert doesn’t love Cersei but you’d imagine he’d be pissed if he found out his kids were actually Jaimie’s. Then he tells Renly he won’t dishonor Robert’s name by spilling blood in his halls when Renly tells him you gotta strike before Cersei does. Then with Littlefinger he relies on a promise that Littlefinger made to Catelyn. Stark’s don’t do well in the South where the snakes live. Catelyn even warned him in the first episode “the last time the Stark’s went south was when the Mad King killed your father and brother”.

The lion (Lannister banner symbol) carving a deer (Robert's house banner symbl), it's these little details that make this show even more fantastic. Also this was Charles Dance's first take and he skinned the deer with only brief instruction, yes this is an actual deer he's skinning.
