Monthly Report: First Real Month On Patreon

So it's been over a month now since I remade my patreon and so far it was an interesting experience.

Before I go into the details, let me quickly clarify a few things: I am working on Tasty Ramen, but didn't have anything new to show just yet. I am currently in the planning phase of Episode 2, fixing some stuff on Episode 1, preparing the game for a showcase this month and a few other minor Projects also came along (more on this in the next post). My main focus is, and will continue to be Tasty Ramen. I am more determined than ever to turn this into a finished game at the end. :) Things just need a bit of time and days need a bit more hours.

One super small update though: Tasty Ramen can now be played via Gamepad. This has nothing to do with a potential console port (sorry...), but with the sowcase. However, I do intend to keep this feature, because quite frankly I really do enjoy playing the game with a Gamepad for some reason.

Now for the main thing:

Let me take this opportunity to give the four of you a very big "Thank You!" for supporting me and sticking around! <3 Your contributions are going directly into my gamedev budget and will put to good use for Tasty Ramen and other upcomming projects. :)

Last month I call my "first real month on patreon", because it was the month I really started to use Patreon the way everyone else does. Basically this means I started writing updates, getting exclusive content on here, and so on.

While off to a good start with quite a lot of patrons (around 7 in total), I did quickly realize how fast it can go. In the time of this month I lost four of them again. Including two bigger ones. For now, I figured it might be due to me not offering what they where looking for right now, but that is okay. I still need to figure patreon out for myself and I will do that. :)

So what I am trying to say is: Things around here might still change a bit. I am super grateful for your support and I hope you stick around through those changes. However I want you to know, that it is absolutley okay to adjust your pledge or leave entirely, if you don't find what you are looking for. Also please feel free to contact me directly on here, or over Twitter / E-mail to tell me exactly what you would like to see on here in the future. :)

One last thing: I will try out certain YouTube Video ideas in the future as well (Devlogs and Tutorials), so let's see how that will go.

Again, thank you very much for your Support and for sticking around for now. :)

Cheers,

Marcus
