2024-06-29 08:08:30 +0000 UTCWhat a great ending. She doesn't really get anything she wanted (the priest, her father and step-mother separated), but she can finally start healing. That's my takeaway from leaving the fourth wall at the end: she's ready to move on and break the cycle of her depression and self-loathing. Season 1 was the story of Fleabag learning how to survive her guilt and start rebuilding, while Season 2 is the story of how she learns to be able to actually live again.
