I personally think morgause chose the most peaceful way of a regime change there is, she puts everyone to sleep so that there are no innocent Knights have to die in a fight, no colateral damage, no one has to die except for Uther, she even chose a time when Merlin & Arthur were supposed to be away to strike, i imagine after Uther's death she would've stopped the spell & everyone would've woken up 🤷🏻♀️, it's so much better than war imo.
Morgana didn't even know she was the source of the spell's power, morgause didn't really explain how any of this works, she just said are you in on killing Uther? And did her thing, so Morgana was genuinely didn't know there was even anything to do, she was scared like Merlin & Arthur & thought that knight would kill her, i bet if she knew she was the source she could've even drank the poison willingly to save Merlin & Arthur, imagine being Morgana & the only person you trusted with your secret poisons you & you have no clue as to why!!!
The dragon is such a hypocrite, remember that episode when Merlin went to him for help & his answer was let Uther die?!! But now Morgana is dangerous & must be killed coz she chose "the dark side" aka wanting Uther dead? So when he does it it's fine but when Morgana does it it's evil?! 🧐 I don't understand why the dragon isn't empathic to morgause & Morgana's cause, he himself knows more than anyone Uther's cruelty, wouldn't he want the old religion back as well? Why would he choose to help Merlin over Morgana? I can't think of a reason other than his freedom? I can't help but love morgause she's so badass I'm sorry 😂, i love Arthur saying "if i need a servant in the next life so much"!!! You just know these two should be together in the next life!
