The idea of immortals in a relationship kind of makes me reconsider what a good loving relationship would look like. Does it have to go on till death? is time a measure? intensity? care even if you move on to other romantic relationships? Don't really have strong answers but I do assess relationships between immortals differently than mortals. Glad you're enjoying the show branching out into immortal stories that aren't JUST kill evil immortal. This was the best use of flashbacks intertwined with the present time story so far imo. Really a big fan of flashbacks in the show, fun seeing Duncan in different looks/times and it adds a lot more potential layers to the storytelling.
