I’m anxiously awaiting the finale. I need it NOW from y’all. I’m so glad I got rewatch the show through y’all and compared to other reactors of the show you fully understand the writing and emotional tone of the show. Y’all had the same reactions I did for the most part during my first time watching

2023-12-12 02:03:17 +0000 UTCOne other thing to keep in mind - although you're left with the feeling that Mencken will definitely be the president after the last episode, that is not actually a settled fact in the show's storyline - a news network deciding to call a particular state does not in actuality have any legally binding implications. Lawsuits will be filed and the Jimenez team isn't going to just weakly concede to Mencken before the issue of the sketchy fire that destroyed what were almost certainly thousands of ballots heavily skewed to Jimenez (Milwaukee County is extremely blue leaning and always picks the Democrat by 2:1 margins) is resolved. It was also a little weird seeing the Roy kids kiss up to Mencken by repeatedly calling him, "Mr. President", because even if the outcome was not at all in dispute and he had clearly won, he would still not actually be the president for another 11 weeks until he is inaugurated. It was a little odd that they did not have magnetometers at the funeral, because a public event that large would definitely involve the Secret Service thoroughly screening every single person who walked into the church.

2023-12-11 05:19:32 +0000 UTCFun fact - the entire final season takes place over just ten days, each episode being the encapsulation of one single day that occurs immediately after the previous episode's day. Logan dies in Ep 3 and the funeral isn't until Ep 9 and it feels like it has been an eternity with everything that happens in between, but in reality it has only been about 6 days. Willa nearly leaves Connor the night before their wedding, and exactly one week later they're newlyweds at his dad's funeral together. The finale is going to hit you like a ton of bricks. And whatever you think happens very likely isn't what happens.
