I agree. I didn't like Butcher that much. And I never understand why people see him and Dean as the same. Sure, they are both good for witty comebacks. But that's kind of just classic kripke writing in my opinion.

2022-04-09 00:21:18 +0000 UTCThis episode was so intense! I really didn't like Butcher very much by this point. Seeing him kill Mesmer like that was pretty tough. People like to compare Butcher with Dean and I don't agree. Butcher is a whole 'nother level of messed up. Seeing The Deep get treated like that by that woman didn't make me feel sorry for him. It was interesting, though, that he didn't just stop it. He's much stronger than she was. So that shows that he was maybe frozen or shocked so much that he couldn't stop her? But maybe this will help him understand how bad what he did was. Getting him to understand and feel bad about what he did is important, because he hadn't up to that point. It's nice that he cares about his aquatic friends, but that's about it. Even bad people can have pets and care about them. I needed more. I need to see that he really gets it and feels bad. I am glad that Annie found out. But why'd Butcher have to shoot her? I really didn't think Hughie was in any danger from her. Really good episode though, even if it sounds like I'm just complaining.
