2023-06-11 06:04:34 +0000 UTCI was on vacation last week, so I'm just catching up with all this. I think your take on whether or not Dean would have killed Sam is interesting. I always thought that Dean did not *want* to kill Sam--or he would have much sooner--but he was willing to kill him if it meant he would not be turned human again. Demon Dean reminds me more of soulless Sam than he does of most demons. Not an outright murderer, but willing to kill someone who is in his way, including Sam. I do like your take on it though--the only hole I see in your theory is that the demon knife would not kill Dean as long as he has the Mark. Only the First Blade can kill him, and Crowley has that. (Though does Dean know that? Hmmm.)
