Shiv got exactly what she 100% deserved. She treated Tom like dirt. She straight up told him she didn't love him. I'm sorry that isn't dirty talk. That humiliation. She would be perfect for Roman. She pushed Tom as far as it could go and then when he asked about his place in the new company, it was clear she hadn't thought about it. Yeah. She got exactly what she deserved.

2023-10-17 04:49:08 +0000 UTCIt's true Shiv laid the foundations for Tom's betrayal, just by not registering or responding to the insecurity he clearly feels...but I also feel bad for her. Partially bc I think this is the best she's capable of loving. But also bc their dynamic sort of flips for these big moments. Tom was at his weakest when he was up for prison in s2, and Shiv threw Ken under the bus and pleaded w her dad to save Tom. Shiv's at her most vulnerable in this moment, and Tom had knifed her.

2023-10-02 19:00:36 +0000 UTCThe last scene with Tom holding Shivs shoulders is 100% similar and a reference to the opening intro, where Logan is holding young Shivs shoulder in the same manner. Not gonna say anything specific, but there is a lot of analysis deserved for just that shot alone. ENJOY SEASON 4, ITS SO FCKING GOOD

The three of them united, when Logan realises he can't control them anymore going full abusive - Roman in that scene genuinely hurts me. Also the Ken breakdown scene - ugh. Love as always

2023-10-01 17:53:08 +0000 UTCI’ll say this for Greg: he’s playing the game the way it’s meant to be played — he’s literally on both sides of the fence, so he ends up winning no matter what. If he hitched his horse to Ken’s cart permanently, he would have sunk. Now he’s hitching it to Tom’s, and he’s ahead of the siblings because of it. Absolute loyalty does not exist in this world: it’s the snakes that survive and thrive.
