Korra is as much as a great series in its own way as Aang. There are definitely differences, but I do enjoy the bending in Korra more, and I resonate better with Korra's personality

2023-10-08 22:16:26 +0000 UTCNickelodeon only gave them one season, so they crammed this in. After seeing the ratings, Nick renewed them for a 2nd season, and they crammed everything in season 2 in. Then, in post-production of season 2, Nick greenlight seasons 3 & 4.

I kinda agree with Ariana that LoK isn’t better than avatar but it’s right up there and once you consider its own thing it’s a masterpiece in and of itself you guys are gonna love these four seasons this is the weakest part honestly. Don’t be too hard on the haters honestly a lot of them were just the first viewers original avatar fans who wanted more avatar. They were disappointed that they got Korra that’s how the hate got started. Since the show has ended the perception of Korra has greatly changed since those aren’t the only people who have watched the show are not hating it because it’s not it’s predecessor and just finding ways to criticize the show. I wish u guys watched the next episode but it’s crazyyy enjoy

Korra is 17, and it has been 70 years since the end of the 100 Year War. The Lieutenant is voiced by legend Lance Henriksen, who played Bishop the Android in "Aliens", and one of the cops in the police station in "The Terminator".

2023-10-01 16:35:22 +0000 UTCLegend of Korra is bizarre in this way: On the one hand, you have possibly some of the weakest writing I've ever seen in the various romances throughout the series. They honestly do a better job of writing the relationships that go unrequited right to the end. On the other hand, you have these absolute gems like the writing around Amon and Tarrlok. So, the series manages to be excellent and mediocre at the exact same time and it all adds up to, in a word, incoherence. It's like they put all the seasoned veterans in the writers' room onto one team and had them write the villains and then gave the task of writing the protagonists to a team of summer interns or something. Bizarre and frankly frustrating.
