2023-08-01 01:57:05 +0000 UTCThe small hint of a smile that cracks across Logan's face at the end of Kendall's press conference is a certain degree of respect he suddenly has for Ken. Logan told Ken before he left the boat that Ken wasn't a killer - that he didn't think Ken had what it took to be CEO. Right in that moment at that press conference, Ken became a killer. So while Logan presumably is seething with rage over the betrayal, there's a piece of him that respects Kendall's willingness to be a killer, even though it meant getting stabbed in the back by his own son.

2023-08-01 01:56:11 +0000 UTCSuch a fantastic episode and a great reaction. Season 3 is a complete banger too (with another amazing finale, maybe even better). It's never addressed in the show but Jeremy Strong says that Kendall was willing to take the fall for cruises up until the point where Logan says NRPI (No Real Person Involved) and in that moment he realises his dad is a proper villain, a bad bad person. That's the catalyst for him - Jeremy actually asked for that line so there would be a shift for him. I'm a certified Roman simp and like that he was so uncomfy with Kendall being chosen, which Shiv (who I love even though she's awful too) essentially knowingly sacrificed Kendall for Tom which is wild. Logan is awful as always, and seems perversely pleased Kendall is standing up to him (even if just for a moment). Ugh it's just soo well written (sorry for the essay) but that line 'what could you possibly kill, that you loved so much, it would make the sun rise again' gutted me. Jeremy Strong and his doe sad eyes more than deserved the leading actor emmy for this season my god

2023-07-31 09:50:01 +0000 UTCWhat a moment in television. For me, S3 is really the season when the siblings descend into reflecting the worst of their parents and Logan at his most ugly, if you can believe it. It's wild, per usual. Can't wait for those reactions!
