Well, apparently there was a lot of butting heads and tension between Nic and Cary due to the rare nature of having a sole writer and director working on the series. Regardless, they still got it done obviously lol because this is one of the greatest seasons of all time.

This is the incredibly rare occasion where one sole writer, novelist Nic Pizzolatto, wrote all 8 episodes and one sole director, Cary Fukunaga, directed all 8. This allowed for cohesion and visionary unity that permeates this lightning in a bottle masterwork that will stand the test of time.

2023-02-19 21:20:52 +0000 UTCI first saw it when the season came out, so well before The Boys and didn't have anything to recognize her from. Side note, I think you'd both really enjoy Sense8 and Mr Robot if you haven't seen either of them. Sense8 especially gets far too little recognition.
