Just for clarity, they were on a stationary shipyard rig. The earthbenders were being used as slave labor to build Fire Navy ships. The warden was voiced by Star Trek legend George Takei!

2023-02-22 02:39:46 +0000 UTCidk if you're seeing the engagement you'd like on these or not, but if not then there's a chance it's because this kind of show is SUPER binge-able and i know i keep trying to wait until i can watch 4 or five episodes in a row at least, possibly a season or the whole show just so i can watch as many as i want without waiting (that's not a push for a faster posting schedule on them, you know what you're doing, i'm just saying you might have more people interested in this than it looks like) Also, ATLA feels like they spent the first season making a kids show that adults could also watch, and then the other seasons feel more like a show for adults that kids can also watch, if that makes any sense. Whenever I've shown this to people they tend to remain just a little dubious for most of the first season before they sort of look up at some point in the second season and realize they're heavily invested in the story, world, and character development.

Season 2 has one 2 parter. Then two more 2 parters in season 3 and the series finale is a 3 parter.)
