Jensen improvised “Fight the fairies!” “You fight those fairies!” and it has become a favorite Dean quote in the fandom. He also improvised Dean’s reaction when he realized he accidentally jumped a little person rather than a fairy. I’ve said it before, Jensen has the best facial expressions. 2021-03-16 03:18:02 +0000 UTCI’ve been waiting for this one because I was an X-Files fan, and I know you’re watching it. Hilarious. Right down to the font they used onscreen. Yep, Kim Manners directed many episodes in seasons 1-3, then Metamorphosis 4.04. He was BELOVED by everyone, especially Jensen, who credits Kim with instilling the interest to become a director. Kim died of lung cancer in early 2009. A huge loss for TV in general.

2021-03-15 19:16:23 +0000 UTCOne of my favourite Dean lines in the whole series (there are MANY!) is when he and Sam are looking at the "pizza-rolled Tinkerbell" in the microwave. The way Jensen delivers the line: "See what? See...see all the...the blood...see all the...the...the blech" and "you don't see all the...the ech? It's right there!" The way he says *blech* and *ech* and his face when he says it just kills me every time!! And of course Sam's response: "I'm not supposed to laugh right?" Just a fantastic episode! Loved your reaction as always.

One of my favorite episodes, and the scene with fairy hunting Dean is priceless. Jensen really cracks me up with his comedic timing here. And after all that fun of course we get that dark note at the end where it really does look like Sam is rethinking this whole idea. I want Sam back.

2021-03-15 11:14:38 +0000 UTCGreat reaction, Shelley. This 9th episode is an entertaining and fun one. Soulless Sam with no filter is unusually hilarious and a delight. And per usual SPN fashion, after that kind of episode, sh** is going to hit the fan real hard. The next one is episode 10, and the 11th is where some of the plot arcs going to land as the mid-season finale. Sera Gamble is gonna hit us hard with that one and it is gonna be really good, and cliffhangers are par for the course. The title is in reference to the old Peter Pan stage play. Tinkerbell is dying because people stopped believing in fairies, so Peter Pan asks the audience to clap their hands if they believe in fairies. As the audience claps, Tinkerbell gets better (this is taken from the imdb trivia page). Side note: not sure whether you notice that Misha’s name is in the credit but he is not in this episode. Don’t know what that snafu is about, maybe to include his name in the special opening credits in X-Files fashion, for just posterity's sake I guess. There are a few special opening credits every season and there will be another one coming soon.
