I love that Mr. X says he used to be like Mulder. Then in SPN Rufus says he used to be like Dean. Great connection between Steven Williams' characters. I'd give the medical problems in this episode a pass - remember this was 17 years ago. So who was Nurse Owens?

2021-05-23 02:09:59 +0000 UTCYes the last episode is garbage, and lets just pretend it never happened. But, I actually think it does work having an episode separating Duane Barry and One Breath. My biggest complaint (besides how awful last episode was is that I really, really wished that Mulder didn't discover that Krycek was involved in the conspiracy at the end of Duane Barry. I think they should have used the last episode to play into that aspect of the story. Give Mulder a little more time to bond with his partner while dealing with the loss of Scully, and then hit him when his already down with Krycek being in on it. Twist the knife even more. And that certainly could have given better material then what we got (ugghhh it was really bad). And if I remember correctly Scully was filming this episode 2 or 3 days after giving birth
