I love this episode! Fun fact: the guy who Matthew brought to the show played Gilbert's in dad in the movie! Which makes the little flirting with Marilla's character kinda cool, since their characters dated. I agree the reunion with Gilbert feels a little understated, but the way that Gilbert looks at her during the whole dinner is so cute! I love all the little moments in this episode. The card that Jerry gives Anne (even though he misspelled her name) is so cute! And even more so because he's still learning how to write, so that was an accomplishment. Just so you know, there's some time jumps in the next few episodes, it's easy to lose track. I just watch how long Anne's hair is, it kinda helps. Can't wait for the next episode!
