Great reaction. This episode is still easily one of my all time favourites. I was so glad that in the end John always putting his boys first, but also disappointed that he didn't have proper conversation with Sammy. At least he told Dean what need to be said; that he's proud of him.

2019-12-10 20:19:31 +0000 UTCThey do create a new title card for each season as well as Very Special Episodes. Some of them are very cool. The good news after that heartbreaking premier is that everything good about the show in season 1 gets better. The writers have a solid feel for who Sam and Dean are. They have a feel for the world. Now they get to actually develop both the characters and the overall storyline. There are fewer formulaic 'monster of the week' episodes and more standout episodes and moments. If you're on board so far it's going to be a ride!
