If you are seeking for support for any reason I have created a little meditation for you. In times of difficulty, no matter if you consider it catastrophic or minor, the beauty of living can sometimes become very distant. If one becomes sick (even with the common cold), or there is trouble in a relationship, the vulnerability and lack of control over our life can feel catastrophic. Perhaps our childhood trauma of not being cared for when we were most vulnerable developed a kind of self protection to not let ourselves be helpless and end up having to rely on others. Whatever your chain reactions are to stress triggers, an interesting inquiry might be, 'what is unchanging about my life?' Because we know almost everything will change. And trying to fight against time is so exhausting!
What is incessantly in pursuit of keeping your lifeforce engaged? It is not your social status, money, partners or your youth.
It is Your Breath.
That's what.
How beautiful is that?
What a gorgeous, sensual, embodied gift we all equally have.
And, Stillness is the stage that Breath loves most, it brings us back to our true essence.
It is said that we are all Space in Form and we are in form so we may know ourselves as conscious creators of Beauty. We are the witness of Beauty as well as Beauty itself!
The emptiness of Wuji holds the chaos alongside all the treasures. These differentials give us more form, more experience and more duality. That is the bummer and the ecstasy of our wild ride. But practices like non duality meditation and movement are dedicated to valuing the simplicity of each breath.
Practice: Sit and drop into your body with Yin and Yang or Non Duality as the setting for the mind. All thoughts belong here at the same time there is no place for these thoughts to attach. Now feel your body receiving breath and energy as you soften from head to toe. No need to grasp onto any of this as it doesn't belong to you. Like once a year night blooming Queen of the Night, experiences come and go on their own timing.
I have included an audio of this meditation. It's pretty simple. I am focusing on keeping things simple these days.
Thank you for being here. You are a treasure!
In Love and Beauty,
Rie
