I'm sorry

These past months have been very stressfull. I've been going back and forth almost daily to fix stuff in my new place, clean things, make sure works are proceeding well.

Unfortunately I can't live there yet and the travel time is pretty long, burning hours of work (up to 140 minutes depending on traffic for a full round trip, without counting the time spent there to fix things)

Now I am dealing with more bad stuff such as having to pay a very expensive fine and it's not even my fault so I'm trying to fix that, diplomatically. (ex owners at full fault)

Yesterday I found out there's also a gas leak, so I have to be there early next morning with the technicians, which means I won't be able to post a new comic page. I should be able to finish the daily sketch, at least.

I'm always tired, full of work but at least I usually have the time to deal with stuff. Now I occasionally don't have the time to deal with regular work anymore. I'll do my best with the upcoming commissions.

TLDR: no comic page tomorrow, Friday should be ok.

Please never be afraid to focus on yourself and take a break

I might take a break in august or something, or right after the move is complete

Sketch Man

Take a break if you need to we understand if life is overwhelming you. Sometimes you have to focus on the important things first before the comics. Then when you're ready get back to us we understand.

You need a break from drawing to prioritize on this more effectively. Not only for it's completion, but also in your state of mind also. Focus on your new home's development first and if you need to focus on drawing on the side, do so when things have settled for the day. I can take the wait if need be and pretty certain everyone else here can. Your peace of mind and home should come first in all of this if you're getting more primarily involved consistently like this.

At least your still alive

it's outside and not as dangerous but still, would you leave it like that? they're gonna come and check in the morning and then tell me what's the best way to proceed. It's just more stuff I can't really deal with right now because of the huge amount of work I have on my hands rn.

a gas leak? so does that mean you have to sleep somewhere else. or does it just mean you have to stay in the dark without AC.

My condolences Sketch, you do such amazing work and I'm sorry you have to go through this but hey the light at the end of the tunnel is a new place to live which sounds nice
