On Deck: A tribute to Opportunity
Added 2019-04-15 20:19:14 +0000 UTCHappy Monday everybody and thanks again for making my last video such a success. For my next release, I'm paying tribute to the Mars rover Opportunity. I've sifted through thousands of raw images taken by the rover and woven them into a nostalgic trip through all the sights and sounds of Mars, incorporating the sound of actual Martian wind picked up by the 2018 InSight lander. Working on this has given me a new appreciation for all that this rover accomplished and my hope is this video makes you feel the same. Still can't believe we put a vehicle on mars that lasted almost 15 years. Humans are pretty rad sometimes.
I'm aiming to release by the end of the month, so watch for it in a couple weeks. Cheers!
