Game Jam: The Aftermath

Hah... Hahaha! I DID IT! I SURVIVED!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, I made a (more or less) complete game in two weeks! Sure, there were a lot of features that I had to scrap in order to submit on time, but overall the game is quite well-polished!

As much as I'd like to give you guys the link, I used my real identity on the game and I'd prefer to keep the two worlds separate. ^^;

On the bright side, I've gotten a taste of what it means to work as fast as I can! If I was a video game character, my speed would have just risen by a whole level! :D I'm gonna do my best to apply what I've learned to Run From Me and all future projects, including the increased pace -- although I'll tone it down quite a bit. If I worked that hard and fast all the time, I'd implode by the third month! ._.

Once the results are in, I'll let you guys know how I did! I don't expect to get anywhere near winning, but I still had a blast taking part in it, so I don't mind one bit. ^_^

Anyhoo, now that my game jam needs have been more than sated, it's back to work on Run From Me! But first, I friggin' deserve some gosh diddly dang Taco Bell! And a long nap. @_@ I'll see you guys again next week!

PS: If you've ever even thought about taking part in a game jam, DO IT!! It's so exhilarating and fun, and you learn an unbelievable amount in a very short time! :D
