Make sure your email is up-to-date for new login system
Added 2020-07-26 01:47:23 +0000 UTCHi everyone! As you already know, Kronos Time Titan uses an activation system where players use the email address associated with their Patreon account to activate the game in order to download the latest updates, enable perks, etc.
I wanted to make you aware that in order to add new features like progress backups and monthly bonus unlocks (like special clothes and accessories for the girls), we're in the process of updating the system to include a login and password. This also has the added benefit of ensuring someone who knows your email address can't log into your Kronos account and delete your progress of mess anything up for you.
I don't have an exact date, but soon you'll be receiving an update to the launcher which will include an email and password login prompt. Clicking the password reset option will send a link to your email address so you can set up your new password. And don't worry if you forget it; you can always request a new password the same way.
As Patreon requires a valid password, it is my understanding the majority of you already have an active email account in the system. However, if you have a fake email address for some reason, please update your email to an account you can access, in order to get the link to create your Kronos password. If you are concerned with having an account associated with your normal email address, you can always create a gmail account for the purpose of password resets or other emails you don't want for your main inbox.
For planning purposes, please use this survey so I can make sure nobody gets left out or has any issues with the new login.
