On the research side, I have been extracting the schematics for Tehkan World Cup (see post image). This game was extremely popular in Spain, indeed, the donnor for this board was Spanish. This system is somehow more pleasant to work on because it only uses standard logic chips. So once the schematics are completely extracted, we will be sure that we are not missing anything. Find the schematics attached (~95% completion as of today). The core should be rather straight forward to make, so we will have it really soon.
I would like to remark that the only elements you need to extract schematics are those shown in the picture. It is a rather relaxing task to do, so if someone is looking for an evening passtime, this could be a good one!
