Where are you from? EDIT: What currency do you use when paying?
Added 2020-08-10 13:20:01 +0000 UTCWhy the hell do you ask? Mind your own business, dev!
Well, OK, I'm asking because of Patreon's new "currency policy" which will basically allow people in Europe and the UK to pay in their own currency. It also turns out that there is a Patreon fee (applied to me I believe) of 2.5% for pledges paid in a different currency to the dev currency, which right now is US dollars.
BUT, I actually happen to live in Europe and would prefer to have my currency switched to euros to avoid conversion fees from Payoneer to my bank account. It's less than 2,5% however, so it might turn out to be better for me to keep the dollar if pretty much every one here is from the US... Basically, that's why I'm asking, so please participate (it's anonymous anyway, I don't get to see who voted what) and answer truthfully!
EDIT: ACTUALLY, LET ME REPHRASE THIS: I would like to know WHAT currency you use when paying your pledge, not actually where you are from. Come to think of it, you could live in Zimbabwe and have a paypal account in US dollars, and if this what you use, then please click on "US" then...

Unfortunately, that's something beyond everyone's control, including Patreon. At least, you pay it to your own country's treasury!

Paying 10$ or 9.85€ .. it's all in the head. If it helps you, to cut the costs and raise the money, that ends in your pocket, I am all for it.
