Every line brush yields different textures and lines. Certain shape languages and rendering styles benefit from certain brushes, while others just don’t work together.
I tried out different inking styles! Though I’ve gotten so used to unipin styled brushes (minimum pressure set to 40%-50%) that it is a real struggle to do a line style that can go from 0% to 100%. The good thing about unipin pressure is that I don’t have to think much about control over thickness so that I can focus on shapes and form more.
Also I played around subtle differences in interpreting forms. Some I simplified and gave a rounder form, while some I made more sharp. If you want to get into deconstructing your style, it helps to think about how you interpret forms, distribute detail, and how you render.
